Pizza places in the United States run from a counter with two stools and a stack of boxes to a full sit-down pizzeria with a bar, and most neighborhood shops do all three things at once: dine-in, takeout and delivery. Ordering by phone is still common and often faster than an app, and many independents charge less when you call direct because there is no platform fee. Sizes are usually listed in inches (a small around 10", a large 14", an extra-large 16" or more), and a large feeds two to three adults. Slices are sold from a display case at New York-style counters and reheated to order; whole pies take 15-25 minutes at a busy shop. Most spots take cards and mobile pay, though a few older pizzerias remain cash-only, so check the door or the listing before you order.
Hours are published for 3 days a week. Typical hours are 11 amβ5 pm. It is closed on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Nero Pizza at (919) 263-4312; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Its website is neropizzanc.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.
On Google it holds a rating of 5.0 out of 5 from 42 reviews, which is a strong result for a pizza restaurant in Raleigh and suggests consistent service.
Raleigh is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Raleigh follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

HIDDEN GEM! High temperature cooking, cold risen dough, and the BEST QUALITY and most GENEROUS MEAT provided on a pizza in the area! I also got a side of meatball, yes one huge flavor packed soft texture meatball with wonderful quality sauce and cheese. As a foodie who cooks, I talked with the owner and he knows what he's doing. I'll be coming back now that I've found this spot.

Oder this pizza and try it! Is this the best pizza in Raleigh? I think it is a question of what style you like and how far you are willing to go for good pizza. This is definitely the best pizza in North Raleigh. Itβs not a 5.0 pizza it is a 4.6-4.8. The dough is home made and very digestible. You will not be disappointed. The owner called me to let me know they were out of the salad and refunded me and apologized. You should try this spot if you havenβt. Iβm giving it a 4 because itβs not a 5 but I will be ordering from here again.

All pizza is good pizza. Few pizzas can claim to be great, and fewer still can ever hope to be called fantastic. What a privilege to have your local spot serve fantastic pizza because the guy making it cared enough to put in the effort to make it just that: fantastic. The spot is the hidden gem of all hidden gems. Yes it's in a gun range, if that gives you pause, take is as the opportunity to go outside your comfort zone because it will be worth it. I didn't get the chance to try the meatball (running out is a green flag for me though) but the other reviewers have that covered with how much they rave about it. I look forward to being a loyal customer and watching this business blossom.

The salad and G.O.B.B. pizza were delicious. Never would have expected the location inside the gun range, but the atmosphere was quiet, clean, and plenty of tables to sit and enjoy the food.

If you like mediocre pizza, poor customer service and a long wait, DON'T come to Nero. No seriously, this place is awesome. We got the pepperoni and black&white pizzas and the giant meatball app and they were all out of this world. The guy and gal working there came out and talked to us and were super friendly. Crazy that it's at a gun range but it was a pleasant surprise. Definitely going back
